The Port Authority of Kribi (PAK) is taking part in the 5th Tripartite Cameroon–Chad–Central African Republic Forum currently being held in N’Djamena. This strategic gathering brings together public authorities, shippers, and logistics stakeholders to discuss ways to improve corridor efficiency and strengthen subregional trade.

During the opening ceremony, the Ministers of Transport of Cameroon, Chad, and the Central African Republic emphasized the importance of sustained dialogue and coordinated action to enhance trade facilitation and logistics performance across the corridor.

At the forum, PAK presented the Port of Kribi’s key strengths, including modern infrastructure, the ability to accommodate large vessels, continuous reductions in cargo processing times, ongoing digitalization of procedures, and the development of the Kribi Port Industrial Zone (KPIZ).

With its deep-water port and innovation-driven strategy, Kribi is increasingly positioning itself as a preferred gateway for imports and exports serving Cameroon and the landlocked markets of Chad and the Central African Republic.

Technical workshops are continuing, with participants working to finalize recommendations aimed at improving corridor fluidity, reducing logistics costs, and enhancing regional competitiveness.

On the sidelines of the closing ceremony, the Port Authority of Kribi will also award rebates to major shippers, underscoring its commitment to building long-term partnerships and supporting the growth of trade within the Central African sub-region.
