The Port Authority of Kribi (PAK) is participating in the 5th edition of the Cameroon–Chad–CAR Tripartite Forum, held from 11 to 13 May 2026 in N’Djamena, Chad.
This major meeting brings together institutional and economic stakeholders from the three countries around a shared objective: facilitating trade, improving logistics corridor performance, and strengthening regional economic integration.
During the opening ceremony, the Ministers of Transport of Cameroon, Chad, and the Central African Republic emphasized the importance of continuous dialogue among stakeholders to ease trade flows across the sub-region.
On this occasion, the Port Authority of Kribi is showcasing the key strengths of its platform:
- modern port infrastructure;
- capacity to accommodate large vessels;
- continuous improvement in cargo processing times;
- progressive digitalisation of procedures;
- development of the Kribi Port Industrial Zone (KPIZ).
The forum also provides an opportunity for PAK to engage directly with shippers, freight forwarders, industrial operators, and investors in order to promote increasingly competitive logistics solutions for hinterland markets.
On the sidelines of the forum, the Port Authority of Kribi signed a service agreement with Société de Transit et de Dédouanement (STD), a major logistics operator in Chad.
Through this partnership, PAK aims to strengthen its proximity to Chadian economic operators and further facilitate regional trade flows.
With its deep-sea port, modern infrastructure, and innovation-driven vision, the Port Authority of Kribi continues to position itself as a leading logistics and industrial hub for Central Africa.
