Following the marketing mission done by a delegation of the Central African Shippers’ Council (CCAC), last 31 January in Kribi, a joint meeting between PAK and CCAC was held in Bangui from 18 to 20 February 2020.
Led by Michaël MAMA AWOUMOU, Operations Manager, PAK delegation was also comprising of Emmanuel ZOA ZIBI, Head of the Cooperation Unit. The proceedings in Bangui were part of the assessment of the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding of 26 February between both organisations. For two days, both parties discussed various common concerns which brought out the following four areas of collaboration:
- An institutional area by putting in place a joint team in charge of implementing the Memorandum of Understanding and following up contact with competent authorities and technical administrations;
- Promotion and facilitation marked especially by the exchange of information, organisation of marketing campaigns and seminars on facilitation;
- An optimization of the space that PAK granted to CAR;
- A last area covering monitoring.
