      Kribi Petroleum Terminal: Energy Security Takes Shape

      On 5 June 2026, the Port Authority of Kribi and the Cameroon Petroleum Storage Company conducted a site visit to the future Kribi Petroleum Terminal. This landmark project is expected to position Kribi as a major energy hub in Central Africa.

      Signed on 4 June 2026 in Yaoundé, the Memorandum of Understanding for the Edéa–Kribi–Lolabé–Campo railway project marks a significant step toward enhancing the Port of Kribi’s land connectivity, following a record throughput of 12.7 million tonnes of cargo and 555,398 TEUs in 2025.
