The Port Authority of Kribi at the Heart of MODEV 2026
Through its participation in the MODEV programme, the Port Authority of Kribi reaffirms its commitment to developing human capital and strengthening institutional performance.
Committed to a continuous drive for excellence and competitiveness, the Port Authority of Kribi (PAK) once again took part in the Project Ownership for Development (MODEV) programme. This achievement reflects PAK’s commitment to investing in skills development and promoting best practices in governance, quality management, and sustainable development.
Committed to a continuous drive for excellence and competitiveness, the Port Authority of Kribi (PAK) once again distinguished itself through its participation in the Project Ownership for Development (MODEV) programme, a prestigious executive training initiative jointly supported by the French Development Agency (AFD), Université Clermont Auvergne, IHEDD, and FERDI.
As global port platforms continue to compete through innovation, operational excellence, and strategic agility, PAK remains convinced that its greatest asset is its people. By investing in continuous professional development, the Port strengthens its capacity to meet the challenges of sustainable growth and international competitiveness.
Following a rigorous selection process launched in February 2025, Madeleine Ndoh Nyaka Ngam proudly represented the Port Authority of Kribi and successfully earned her Master’s degree with honours (“Bien”) for her dissertation entitled “How Quality Management Can Strengthen the Sustainable Management of the Port Authority of Kribi.”
Her research provides valuable insights into improving process efficiency, governance, and sustainable management practices, while offering practical recommendations to support the long-term development of the Port.
Beyond this individual achievement, PAK’s participation in MODEV 2026 reflects the vision of its General Management to align continuous learning with the institution’s strategic objectives. By equipping its executives with internationally recognised expertise in development economics, project ownership, and integrated management systems, the Port Authority of Kribi continues to strengthen its organisational capacity, enhance project delivery, and consolidate its position as a modern, sustainable, and high-performing logistics hub in Central Africa.
