The Port Authority of Kribi (PAK) continues to strengthen its global attractiveness. This Saturday, a delegation from the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council (CWEIC), made up of investors from the United Kingdom and India, conducted a strategic visit to the port platform in Mboro, following momentum generated by the Cameroon Investment Forum (CIF).
🌍 A high-level economic mission
Led by Diana Acha Morfaw, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Investment Promotion Agency (API), and Patrice Melom, Director General of PAK, the mission aimed to explore the wide range of investment and expansion opportunities available within the Kribi industrial port zone.
🚢 A rapidly expanding logistics and industrial hub
Only six years into operations, the Port of Kribi is already establishing itself as a major logistics and industrial hub in Central Africa.
The 25 investors toured:
-
the 15,000 hectares of the industrial zone,
-
key operational units,
-
and ongoing works related to Phase 2 of the port expansion.
Impressed by the port’s strategic location, its operational readiness for maritime trade, and the progress of infrastructure development, investors expressed a clear interest in engaging in large-scale projects within the platform.
📌 A direct outcome of the Cameroon Investment Forum
This visit is a direct continuation of the recently concluded Cameroon Investment Forum in Douala.
It confirms the strong and sustained interest of international partners in Cameroon’s strategic infrastructure, and particularly in the vast industrial and logistical potential of the Port of Kribi.
