Concrete Actions for the Well-being of Local Communities

On Wednesday, September 25, the Port Authority of Kribi (PAK) once again demonstrated its commitment to local communities through two major initiatives focused on health and education.

In Grand-Batanga, PAK completed the rehabilitation of the Integrated Health Centre, a long-awaited project by residents. The modernized and upgraded facility will significantly improve access to primary healthcare services for the local population. The initiative was warmly welcomed by traditional authorities, who were present in large numbers to mark this meaningful act of solidarity and development.

In the village of Londji, another community in the coastal city of Kribi, PAK handed over a fully equipped school building to the local nursery school. The facility includes two classrooms, an administrative office, desks, and chairs, enhancing the learning environment for young pupils.

The joyful and emotional ceremony was presided over by the Sub-Prefect of Kribi II, alongside Mr. Benjamin BISSAI, Technical Advisor No. 2, representing the Director General of PAK, as well as the Inspector of Basic Education, teachers, and students from the nursery school’s small and middle sections.

The bright smiles of the children discovering their new school captured the spirit of the day — a true symbol of the Port of Kribi’s dedication to the well-being and future of the next generation.

Through its Kribi Socio-Economic Support Program (PASEK), the Port Authority of Kribi continues to implement projects that sustainably improve the living conditions of surrounding communities, strengthening its social and economic impact in the region and beyond.
