PAK committed to modernizing regional port governance
The Port Authority of Kribi (PAK), represented by its Technical Adviser No. 1 and the Head of the Cooperation Unit, took part in the work of the Ad hoc Committee for the Reform of the Statutes of the Port Management Association of West and Central Africa (AGPAOC), held in Abidjan from October 14 to 16, 2019.
A reform for greater efficiency
The meeting aimed at reviewing and proposing reforms to modernize AGPAOC’s mode of operation and update the texts governing its management.
Strong involvement of PAK
For PAK, this reform is a crucial step to enable the association to better address the challenges and issues facing ports in the sub-region, in a context marked by competitiveness and globalization of trade.
