As part of the preparations for the International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples, the PAK held the third edition of its school excellence initiative, providing school kits to 173 deserving pupils.

Following previous editions in Lendé-Dibé and Lobé, the Port Authority of Kribi organised its third school excellence initiative in Bipindi. A total of 173 pupils from SIL to CM2 in communities affected by port activities received school kits to support their education and encourage academic achievement.

Supporting education and academic achievement

In preparation for the celebration of the International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples, the Port Authority of Kribi (PAK) reaffirmed its commitment to community engagement by organising the third edition of its school excellence initiative in the Bipindi Subdivision. The initiative follows earlier editions held in Lendé-Dibé and Lobé.

In the presence of traditional and administrative authorities, including the Sub-Divisional Officer of Bipindi, school kits were officially presented to 173 deserving pupils, from Section d’Initiation au Langage (SIL) to Cours Moyen 2 (CM2), from the communities of Bipindi, Bidjouka, Kouambo and Lambi affected by port activities.

Encouraging a successful school year

This support is intended to assist families, promote access to education and encourage pupils to strive for academic excellence as they begin the new school year.

Through this initiative, the PAK continues to support education and contribute to the well-being of communities in its area of influence.
