Solidarity: PAK, a Family That Cares for Its Own
Through its annual school-kit initiative, the Port Authority of Kribi reaffirms its commitment to supporting the children of deceased employees and strengthening the bonds of solidarity within the PAK family.
On 27 August 2026, more than fifty children of deceased PAK employees received school kits during a ceremony chaired by the Director General. The initiative reflects the organisation’s commitment to solidarity, family values and the well-being of its employees’ families.
More than fifty children gathered on Thursday, 27 August 2026, at the esplanade of Annex 1 for the official presentation of school kits to the children of deceased employees of the Port Authority of Kribi (PAK). The ceremony was chaired by the Director General of PAK.
Held in a warm and joyful atmosphere, the event enabled the children to receive school kits to help them begin the new academic year with greater peace of mind and confidence. Smiles, conversations and moments of sharing gave this gathering a particularly meaningful character.
In his address, the Director General reaffirmed his strong commitment to this tradition, which embodies the spirit of solidarity and fraternity that defines the PAK family. He expressed his wish for this initiative to continue in the years ahead, so that the children of deceased colleagues can continue to benefit from the organisation’s support.
This commitment goes beyond the distribution of school kits. Throughout the past academic year, particular attention was given to monitoring and supporting the children’s educational progress. Their results in several national examinations, including the Baccalaureate, Probatoire, BTS, BEPC and CEP, with several successful outcomes, represent a genuine source of satisfaction and pride for the organisation.
Through this initiative, PAK reaffirms a strong conviction: a company’s responsibility is not limited to its economic performance. It is also reflected in its ability to care for the women and men who make up its family.
At PAK, behind every employee is a story, a family and a future worth preserving.
