The WL MUROM, a vessel from Russia with a cargo of 17,936 tons of fertilizer products, docked on the quays of the multi-purpose terminal of the port of Kribi for an operation for an operation consisting of unloading and bagging fertilizers. This type of operation is a first in Kribi since its opening in March 2018. It shows the capacity of the port community of Kribi not only to unearth new market shares, but also to diversify them. The cargo destined for AGP in Douala was handled by the teams of Kribi Multi-purpose Terminal at a rate of 1,500 tonnes per day for a total of 17,936 tonnes processed. The technical and logistical arrangements put in place by the port authority and the terminal operator enabled a smooth run of the operation. Starting initially with timber, the multipurpose terminal has opened up cargo to cotton and cocoa, and the diversification still goes on. Most recently, it was clinker and here we are today with bagged fertilizer on hoists.
