Governor Félix NGUELE NGUELE commends the efforts undertaken by PAK Management to strengthen the security of the port area

Following a meeting of the Kribi Port Security Committee and a site visit to the Port of Kribi at Mboro, the Governor of the South Region, Félix NGUELE NGUELE, commended the security measures implemented by the Port Authority of Kribi and reassured economic operators and port users about the safety of the port community.

Strong commitment to port security

The Kribi Port Security Committee met yesterday under the chairmanship of Mr Félix NGUELE NGUELE, Governor of the South Region and Chair of the Committee.

At the end of the first day of proceedings, Committee members visited the Port of Kribi site at Mboro. The visit provided an opportunity to assess on the ground the measures and initiatives undertaken to strengthen security within the port perimeter.

Governor commends PAK’s efforts

Following the site visit, the Governor of the South Region expressed his satisfaction with the security measures undertaken by the Management of the Port Authority of Kribi (PAK).

This recognition highlights the importance attached by PAK to maintaining a safe and secure port environment, which is essential to the continued development of port, industrial and logistics activities.

On behalf of the Kribi Port Security Committee, Governor Félix NGUELE NGUELE reassured economic operators, port users and all partners within the port community that the Port of Kribi is a safe port.

This assurance comes as the Kribi port complex continues to expand its activities and strengthen its role within the industrial and logistics ecosystem. It also underscores the need to maintain a high level of vigilance, coordination and cooperation among all stakeholders involved in port security.

Through this collective commitment, the Port Authority of Kribi reaffirms its determination to contribute to a secure port environment, conducive to the confidence of economic operators and the sustainable development of activities within the port community.
