Through strategic discussions with technology providers and logistics stakeholders, the Port Authority of Kribi reaffirmed its commitment to digital transformation, operational excellence, and stronger hinterland connectivity.
From 19 to 21 May 2026, the Port Authority of Kribi (PAK) participated in CSC Live 2026 in Hamburg, Germany. The event provided an opportunity to promote the Port of Kribi internationally, explore innovative port technologies, and strengthen partnerships aimed at enhancing logistics performance and regional connectivity.
From 19 to 21 May 2026, the Port Authority of Kribi (PAK) took part in CSC Live 2026, held at Hamburg Messe, Germany, one of the leading international events dedicated to port operations, logistics, and supply chain innovation.
Speaking during the conference, Habib Iya, Head of PAK’s Douala Representation Office, highlighted the growing importance of integrated logistics corridors in today’s maritime industry:
“Hinterland connectivity is becoming the main driver of port competitiveness, but integrated corridors require coordination between all stakeholders.”
Throughout the event, the PAK delegation, led by its Douala Representation Office, held a series of targeted working meetings with European providers of port technologies and digital solutions. Discussions focused on port digitalisation, terminal operating systems, container tracking solutions, and integrated port security systems.
These exchanges opened promising avenues for future cooperation with leading European companies specialising in container visibility, port security, and the optimisation of terminal operations.
Beyond technology monitoring, PAK’s participation also served a broader commercial objective: promoting the Port of Kribi—Cameroon’s only deep-water port on the Atlantic coast—as a competitive logistics hub serving the markets of Central Africa and positioning it before international investors, shipping companies, and logistics decision-makers.
The mission concluded with a comprehensive report identifying new partnership opportunities and confirming PAK’s strategy of international engagement, innovation, and continuous modernisation of its port platform.
Through its participation in CSC Live 2026, the Port Authority of Kribi reaffirmed its ambition to strengthen international cooperation, accelerate digital transformation, and enhance the competitiveness of the Port of Kribi as a leading logistics gateway for Central Africa.
