From October 21 to 23, 2021, the Port Authority of Kribi (PAK), co-organizer of the African Ports Forum (FAP) alongside the Port Authority of Douala (PAD), played a central role in the event held in Douala. Through a virtual stand, high-level exchanges, and an on-site visit to Kribi, PAK showcased its expertise and potential to a global delegation of key industry players.
3rd Edition of the FAP Co-Organized in Douala with PAK as a Key Partner
On Thursday, October 21, 2021, the Port Authority of Kribi (PAK) co-hosted the 3rd African Ports Forum (FAP) with the Port Authority of Douala (PAD) in Douala.
As a co-organizer, PAK aimed to highlight its know-how, specialized services, and competitive advantages, in collaboration with its operational partners. The main objectives were to strengthen its brand image, increase visibility for both itself and the broader Kribi port community, and to attract new clients and investors.

The African Ports Forum Drops Anchor at the Port of Kribi
On Saturday, October 23, 2021, a high-level delegation made up of key stakeholders and senior figures from the African and international port sectors visited the deep-sea Port of Kribi for an official tour.
Led by PAK’s Director General, Mr. Patrice MELOM, the visitors were introduced to the port’s major infrastructure, including:

Each stop included direct exchanges between the delegation and the port’s management team, with visitors expressing satisfaction and admiration for Kribi’s modern facilities and future potential.

This stopover in Kribi served as the highlight of the Forum, concluding two days of intensive discussion and cooperation among global port professionals.
