Youth Employment at the Port Authority of Kribi: A Strategic Partnership for the Future
The Port Authority of Kribi and the National Employment Fund renew their commitment to supporting youth employability through targeted programs and joint actions
Kribi, November 17, 2021 – The Port Authority of Kribi (PAK) and the National Employment Fund (FNE) have taken a new step in their collaboration to enhance youth professional integration. The Director Generals, Mr. Patrice MELOM (PAK) and Mr. Camille MOUTE A BIDIAS (FNE), signed the revised framework agreement that has linked the two public institutions since 2017.
A Renewed Commitment to Local Youth Employment
This updated agreement focuses on reinforcing joint efforts to promote the professional integration of trained, qualified, and competent young people, particularly in the fast-developing city of Kribi.
Three Strategic Pillars of Cooperation
The revised partnership is structured around three main areas of collaboration:
-
Design and implementation of professional integration programs, aligned with local economic needs;
-
Expertise sharing, research, and development of employment-focused initiatives to ensure program effectiveness;
-
Organization of scientific and professional events—seminars, workshops, open days—to foster dialogue between job-seeking youth, institutions, and companies.
A Lever for Local Employment and Inclusive Growth
Through this renewed partnership, PAK and FNE reaffirm their shared commitment to becoming a catalyst for youth employment and contributing to inclusive and sustainable development in the port city of Kribi.
