A major step towards enhanced multimodal connectivity
On October 29 and 30, 2019, the Port Authority of Kribi took part in the validation workshop for the Feasibility Study of the Edéa – Kribi – Campo Railway Line, held in Yaoundé at the National Advanced School of Public Works.
A decisive stage of the project
As in previous phases, PAK’s participation in this workshop illustrates its commitment to supporting this structuring project. The holding of this session marks a significant step forward in the realization of this vital infrastructure for the national and sub-regional economy.
A strategic line for the Port of Kribi
The project plans for the construction of a railway line of about 144 km, which will connect the Kribi Deep Sea Port to the national railway network.
Towards stronger connectivity
The commissioning of this line in the medium term will strengthen the multimodal connectivity of the Port of Kribi, facilitating cargo transportation and consolidating its strategic role as a leading logistics hub in Central Africa.
