UCAC Students Explore the Port Authority of Kribi

A practical immersion into port operations and sustainable development

On February 8, 2024, the Port Authority of Kribi (PAK) opened its doors to students from the Catholic University of Central Africa (UCAC) for a field immersion visit.

📘 A student-led initiative bridging theory and practice

Organized by undergraduate students in marketing, communication, and sales, the visit offered a unique opportunity to experience the professional world firsthand, connect academic knowledge with real-world applications, and gain insights into the Port’s communication and development strategies.

🚢 Immersion into port logistics and commercial dynamics

The students discovered:

  • the logistics and commercial operations of the Port,

  • the strategic approaches to communication and stakeholder engagement,

  • and the core functions of Cameroon’s maritime and port ecosystem.

🌱 A focus on sustainability and infrastructure impact

The visit concluded with a tour of Mboro, where students learned more about the Port’s approach to sustainable development, environmental responsibility, and industrial zone management.
