Third Commercial Call at the Port of Kribi

Third Commercial Call at the Port of Kribi
A high-capacity vessel loads 20,500 tons of biomass bound for Ireland
On Tuesday, February 6, 2018, at 4 p.m., the Port Authority of Kribi (PAK) welcomed a new vessel specialized in the transport of biomass, specifically rubber tree logs at the end of their cycle. The ship loaded 20,500 tons of products destined for Ireland, marking the third major technical and commercial operation conducted at the Mboro facilities. This milestone reflects both the steady growth of the port’s commercial activity and the ability of Cameroonian stakeholders to make the port fully operational, serving not only the national economy but also the wider Central African sub-region.
