The Port Authority of Kribi Strengthens Its Cooperation With Belgium
Strategic Partnership in Focus During High-Level Visit
As part of the partnership agreement signed in 2018, the Port Authority of Kribi (PAK) welcomed a high-level Belgian delegation on April 22, 2021. The delegation included officials from Port of Antwerp International and the Belgian Cooperation, who visited the Kribi Deep Seaport for a working session.
The agenda covered several key topics:
-
Review and assessment of the partnership agreement between PAK and the Port of Antwerp,
-
Exploration of new areas of collaboration in port logistics and operations,
-
Field visits to port infrastructures and facilities, including the logistics zone,
-
Particular focus on the drinking water supply project, which is being led by a Belgian company and financed by Belgian financial institutions.
This mission illustrates the commitment of both parties to deepening technical and institutional cooperation, fostering mutual growth, and ensuring the sustainable development of the Kribi port platform.
