The Port Authority of Kribi on a Benchmark Mission at the Port Authority of Dakar

Strengthening African Port Cooperation Through Knowledge Sharing and Innovation

In the spirit of collaboration and professional excellence, the Port Authority of Kribi (PAK) conducted a benchmarking visit to the Port Authority of Dakar (PAD). This mission highlights PAK’s commitment to continuous improvement, regional partnership, and the promotion of African maritime expertise.

In a professional, cordial, and historic atmosphere, the Port Authority of Kribi (PAK) carried out a benchmarking mission at its elder counterpart, the Port Authority of Dakar (PAD).

The PAK delegation — composed of representatives from the Harbour Master’s Office, the Operations Department, the IT Systems Department, and the Technical Department — engaged in fruitful exchanges with their Senegalese counterparts, sharing knowledge, best practices, and operational insights.

PAK extends its sincere appreciation to the Strategic Partnerships and International Cooperation Unit, Commander Ismaila Basse, Head of the COP, as well as to the Defense and Security Forces (Gendarmerie and Fire Brigade) for their warm reception and availability.

Gratitude also goes to all PAD departments that rearranged their schedules to meet and exchange with the delegation from Kribi.

This visit reinforces a shared ambition: building a more integrated, collaborative, and high-performing African port network.
Long live an Africa that cooperates, shares, and grows together!
