A renewed commitment to excellence and sustainable performance

On November 14, 2024, the Port Authority of Kribi (PAK) marked the celebration of the 34th World Quality Day, under the theme:
“Relational principles: staff involvement in ISO certification processes, customer orientation, leadership, and stakeholder relationship management.”

A ceremony under the banner of commitment

Chaired by the Director General of PAK, in the presence of department heads and their key staff, the ceremony was a strong reaffirmation of the organization’s ambition to make quality a strategic lever for growth.

In his speech, the Director General emphasized:

“The integrated QHSE policy (Quality, Health, Safety, Environment), anchored in certification processes, reflects our commitment to making PAK a model aligned with international standards.”

A bold vision built on quality

The Port Authority of Kribi is driven by a clear ambition:
👉 To become a major industrial port and a modern hub for maritime trade in Africa.

To achieve this, two key pillars are prioritized:

  • Deep structural transformation

  • Inclusive and sustainable development

These pillars are supported by certification systems and international standards, which have become essential tools for ensuring efficient and lasting growth.

Quality at the core of operations

This celebration highlights the strategic importance of quality in every aspect of PAK’s operations — from infrastructure to service delivery and management systems. It reflects a clear conviction: operational excellence is not an option, but a necessity.

By placing quality at the heart of its development, PAK affirms its role as a national and continental benchmark, combining performance, responsibility, and innovation.
