On Thursday, 13 November 2025, the Port Authority of Kribi (PAK) participated in the 11th edition of the UCAC-ICAM Business Forum, held on the Yansoki campus in Yassa – Douala. This major annual event brought together companies, institutions and students with one shared goal: to foster dialogue between academia and the professional world.
An initiative that strengthens the link between training and employment

Introduce students to port, logistics, and technical professions;
-
Promote internship and employment opportunities offered by the PAK;
-
Reinforce the PAK’s employer brand among young graduates;
-
Highlight the economic and industrial ecosystem surrounding the Port of Kribi.
At the PAK stand, many students from computer engineering, process engineering, and general engineering programs engaged with the delegation to learn more about the competencies and career prospects within the port sector.
Constructive and interactive exchanges
The PAK delegation—comprising representatives from the PAK Representation in Douala and a Public Relations and Communication officer—led several presentations throughout the day.
Students were able to discover:
-
the history and missions of the Port Authority of Kribi,
-
its strategic role in Cameroon’s and the sub-region’s logistics competitiveness,
-
the diversity of port-related professions across information systems, maintenance, engineering, logistics, quality and safety, and more.
Each presentation concluded with a Q&A session, allowing students to deepen their understanding and interact directly with PAK representatives. The most active participants received promotional items such as T-shirts, pens, USB drives and key holders, helping create a welcoming and motivating atmosphere.
A sustainable bridge between the PAK and the academic world
