StreamSets Training for the Port Autonome de Kribi

Enhancing technical expertise for smarter management of the Port Information System

From July 28 to August 1, 2025, the Port Autonome de Kribi (PAK) took part in a specialized StreamSets training in Valencia, Spain. This technical session strengthened the team’s skills in managing and optimizing data flows, marking a new milestone in the ongoing modernization of the Port Information System (PIS).

This initiative is part of the long-standing partnership between PAK and Prodevelop, focused on the development, operation, and continuous improvement of the Port Information System (PIS).

The training had two key objectives:
Improve the error capture and pipeline management systems, ensuring greater process stability and operational reliability.
Optimize the performance of the port’s messaging flows, while strengthening the PAK team’s autonomy and expertise in using StreamSets.

The course content was customized to the specific needs of the PAK team, combining theoretical knowledge with hands-on workshops. Each module concluded with an interactive practical session, allowing immediate application of the acquired skills.
Participants highly appreciated the quality of the content, the interactive teaching approach, and the relevance of the practical case studies.

The training concluded with an official certificate ceremony, celebrating the successful completion of this new step in the port’s digital transformation.
The friendly atmosphere and productive exchanges further strengthened the collaboration between the Prodevelop and PAK teams.

Through this initiative, the Port Autonome de Kribi reaffirms its commitment to skills development and digital modernization, driving smarter, more efficient, and sustainable port operations.
