PAK Strengthens Its Position at the Rebranding Africa Forum 2024

A strategic showcase for Kribi Port’s regional ambitions

The Port Authority of Kribi (PAK) took part in the Rebranding Africa Forum 2024, held in Brussels from October 17 to 19, marking the 10th anniversary of this flagship international event.

The forum brought together policymakers, investors, business leaders, and experts to discuss the structural challenges and opportunities related to Africa’s development in an evolving global context.

Strategic exchanges to support an ambitious vision

The PAK delegation used this platform to:

  • Showcase the strategic advantages of Kribi’s port, including its geographical position, modern logistics capacity, and multimodal access;

  • Explore partnerships with key stakeholders across the port, industrial, energy, and finance sectors;

  • Promote its flagship projects, such as the expansion of specialized terminals and the development of the Kribi Integrated Industrial Zone (ZIIPK).

A port focused on innovation and sustainability

The event placed strong emphasis on sustainable infrastructure, energy transition, and logistics innovation — priorities that fully align with PAK’s ambition to become a leading regional logistics hub that is smart, competitive, and environmentally responsible.

Through these efforts, the Port of Kribi continues to attract national and international investments, while enhancing its integration into the green and digital economy.

A key player in Cameroon’s SND30

By actively participating in this 10th edition of the Rebranding Africa Forum, the Port Authority of Kribi reaffirmed its commitment to Cameroon’s National Development Strategy (SND30). Its goal: to establish itself as a gateway for trade in Central and West Africa, and a strategic engine for national economic growth.
