A recognition of PAK’s continuous commitment to safety and port attractiveness
On April 24, 2024, the Port Authority of Kribi (PAK) hosted an evaluation mission by the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) to assess the implementation of the ISPS Code. The visit confirmed PAK’s strong commitment to maintaining international port security standards.
As part of the implementation of the International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code, the Port Authority of Kribi received an evaluation mission from the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) on April 24, 2024.
The mission aimed to assess the level of compliance of Kribi’s port facilities with international maritime security standards.
At the conclusion of the visit, the U.S. delegation commended the Port Authority’s sustained efforts in enhancing port safety and risk prevention.
The Port of Kribi successfully reassured its international partners of the reliability of its security systems, professionalism, and full compliance with ISPS requirements.
The PAK security team was praised and symbolically rewarded for its dedication and outstanding performance — recognitions that, while symbolic, hold deep meaning and reaffirm the port’s credibility and trustworthiness.
