Strong participation at the first International Investment and Project Holders Fair in N’Djamena from 16 to 19 December 2021.

The Port Authority of Kribi highlighted its industrial and logistical offer during the first International Investment and Project Holders Fair in Chad, reaffirming its commitment to regional cooperation and its strategic role in serving hinterland economies.

The Port Authority of Kribi (PAK) took part in the inaugural International Investment and Project Holders Fair held in N’Djamena from 16 to 19 December 2021. The event, known as Chad Partners, was organised by the National Agency for Investments and Exports (ANIE) in partnership with the General Confederation of Small and Medium Enterprises of Chad (CGPME).

This major gathering brought together young Chadian entrepreneurs, investors, public decision-makers and regional operators to discuss pathways for economic recovery and diversification. The official opening ceremony, attended by the Director General of ANIE, the President of the CGPME, and several foreign delegations from Cameroon, Nigeria, Turkey, Italy, France and Spain, underscored the international interest in the Chadian market.

Representing Cameroon, the Port Authority of Kribi promoted the investment opportunities available within the deep-sea port’s industrial and logistics zone. As a concrete sign of cooperation, 15 hectares of land have been identified and made available to Chadian operators seeking to establish activities within the Kribi platform, designed specifically to serve landlocked economies.

Over the course of the three days, participants engaged in high-level forums, industry-focused discussions, and B2B sessions covering entrepreneurship, financing, regional trade corridors, and Africa’s evolving supply chain landscape. The strong mobilisation of Chadian youth, showcasing initiatives in agribusiness, logistics, services, energy and digital innovation, was a highlight of the event.

With its participation, the Port Authority of Kribi reinforces its role as a strategic maritime gateway for Chad and other landlocked countries in Central Africa. By offering secure, competitive access to global markets and purpose-built industrial land, PAK positions itself as a critical driver of regional connectivity, trade fluidity and investment attraction.
