PAK Unveils Its Master Plan: A Strategic Vision for the Future

The PAK outlines its long-term development roadmap during a workshop held in Kribi.

The Port Authority of Kribi (PAK) took a major step forward in shaping its future by unveiling its master plan on Thursday, March 4, 2021, during a dedicated workshop held in Kribi with the participation of local administrative, municipal and traditional authorities of the Ocean Division.

This strategic gathering served as a platform to present PAK’s long-term vision, designed to support sustainable growth, enhance logistics competitiveness, and promote balanced territorial development.

According to the consulting firm in charge of the study, the master plan was developed around four prospective scenarios. Following a thorough multi-criteria analysis, a “preferred scenario” was selected. This model best aligns with PAK’s ambitions, considering traffic projections, infrastructure requirements, environmental impact, and socio-economic challenges.

This scenario provides a clear strategic direction for the coming years, aiming to position Kribi as a leading regional port hub in Central Africa.
