By taking part in Breakbulk Europe 2022 in Rotterdam, the Port Authority of Kribi reaffirmed its ambition to position itself as a key logistics hub for project cargo in Central Africa, while expanding its international network.
The Port Authority of Kribi (PAK) participated in Breakbulk Europe 2022, held from 17 to 19 May 2022 at Ahoy Rotterdam, Netherlands, where it hosted Booth 2G14 (Hall 2). This major international event is recognized as the world’s leading platform dedicated to project cargo, breakbulk, and specialized logistics, bringing together shippers, carriers, ports, EPC contractors, and logistics service providers.
The 2022 edition held particular significance as it marked the return of in-person meetings after the pandemic, attracting more than 15,000 visitors and 855 exhibitors from 141 countries. The strong turnout confirmed Breakbulk Europe’s role as a global hub for the industrial project supply chain.
As an exhibitor, PAK leveraged this high-level platform to showcase the capabilities of the Port of Kribi, highlight investment and partnership opportunities in Cameroon, and engage directly with key international stakeholders. Discussions focused on port infrastructure, handling of oversized and heavy cargo, connectivity, and Kribi’s strategic position on the Atlantic coast of Central Africa.
Through its presence at Breakbulk Europe 2022, the Port Authority of Kribi reinforced its visibility within the global maritime and logistics community and reaffirmed its commitment to supporting complex industrial projects. This participation reflects PAK’s broader strategy to integrate more deeply into international trade networks and to position Kribi as a competitive gateway for project cargo and specialized logistics in Africa.
