Learning from success stories to build a world-class SEZ in Kribi

As a committed member of the Africa Economic Zones Organization (AEZO), the Port Authority of Kribi (PAK) participated this week in Abuja at the 7th AEZO Annual Meeting and the 5th African Union Commission Symposium on Economic Zones.

Government officials, business leaders, and investors gathered to explore:

  • the challenges faced by African economic zones;

  • the impact of global tax system reforms;

  • the role of SEZs in driving Africa’s industrialization;

  • special agro-industrial zones,

  • innovation, energy transition, and more.

This event also provided valuable business networking opportunities.

For PAK, with the ambition to make Kribi Port and its industrial zone a benchmark in the Gulf of Guinea, these exchanges are crucial. Gaining insights from successful African SEZs, forming strong partnerships, and staying updated on regulatory changes are key to sustainable and strategic development.
