A privileged setting to present the Phase 2 developments of the Multipurpose Terminal and strengthen dialogue with industry stakeholders

On December 10, 2025, the Port Authority of Kribi and Kribi Multipurpose Terminal brought together maritime and logistics professionals in Douala for an information dinner focused on the new capacities of TPOL Phase 2 and the consolidation of port partnerships.

On December 10, 2025, the Port Authority of Kribi (PAK) and its partner Kribi Multipurpose Terminal (KMT) hosted an information dinner at the elegant La Table de l’Élite restaurant in Akwa, bringing together around forty stakeholders from the maritime and logistics community. Participants included shipping agents, port agents, bulk and conventional cargo shippers, as well as transport operators.

Held in a warm and relaxed atmosphere, the event aimed to present the new solutions and operational capacities of Phase 2 of the Multipurpose Terminal (TPOL), while fostering direct and constructive dialogue between key industry players and port representatives.

Unable to attend, the Managing Director of PAK was represented by the PAK Representative in Douala, who opened the evening with welcoming remarks, emphasizing the central role of dialogue and collaboration in the port’s development strategy.

This was followed by an address from the Managing Director of KMT, who outlined the major advances of Phase 2, highlighting the new operational capabilities designed to enhance the terminal’s competitiveness. A representative of the DEX also spoke, underscoring the synergy between PAK’s various departments and private operators, a key driver of improved coordination and overall performance.

The evening continued with open and constructive discussions among guests, in a convivial atmosphere conducive to networking and the sharing of experiences. It concluded with a moment of fellowship marked by the distribution of branded gifts, as a token of appreciation to the partners in attendance.

Through this initiative, PAK and KMT reaffirm their shared commitment to strengthening port and logistics partnerships, while supporting the continued rise of the Kribi industrial and port complex, a strategic pillar of regional maritime trade.
