On February 2, 2026, a prestigious hotel in Kribi hosted the traditional New Year’s wishes ceremony for the General Manager of the Port Authority of Kribi (PAK).
In an atmosphere combining solemnity and conviviality, PAK’s top management welcomed a distinguished audience, including the Senior Divisional Officer of the Ocean Division, the Chairman of the Consultation and Orientation Committee (CCO PAK), the Secretary General of Port Synthèse, key stakeholders from the port community, and numerous institutional and economic partners. This strong turnout reflects the robustness of the ecosystem built around Kribi’s industrial and port complex.
During his address, the General Manager presented significant performance figures confirming the port’s upward trajectory:
-
350 billion CFA francs in customs revenue generated over the past year;
-
35 billion CFA francs already collected in January 2026, indicating a particularly dynamic start to the new fiscal year.
Beyond economic performance, the ceremony placed strong emphasis on human capital. Several important administrative and social moments marked the event, notably:
-
The official installation of newly appointed managers as well as elected staff representatives, who play a key role in maintaining constructive social dialogue within the organization;
-
A heartfelt tribute to staff members entering retirement, whose historic contribution to the development of the port was warmly acknowledged.
Through this celebration, the Port Authority of Kribi reaffirmed its commitment to pursuing excellence. With a clear strategic vision and a united workforce, PAK remains firmly on course toward operational excellence and sustained contribution to Cameroon’s economic development.
