Kribi Port Renews Its ISPS Certification

International recognition for a port that keeps safety first

On Friday, October 27, 2023, the General Manager of the National Port Authority (APN) officially handed over to the Autonomous Port of Kribi (PAK) the renewal certificate of its ISPS Code compliance, confirming that Kribi remains a safe and secure port destination for vessels and cargo operations.

The ISPS certification (International Ship and Port Facility Security) is a globally recognized standard that ensures port security, controlled access, and the protection of facilities. It plays a key role in facilitating international trade by strengthening the trust of shipowners, logistics providers, and global port authorities.

Originally awarded in 2018, the renewed certification is valid for the next five years, until 2028. This milestone rewards the port’s continued commitment to safety, operational compliance, and international standards.
