Kribi Port Community Football Tournament ends with a celebration of unity and local pride
Tuesday, December 19, 2023, marked the grand finale of an incredible journey between the Port Authority of Kribi (PAK) and its neighboring communities.
Held at the Afan-Mabe stadium in Kribi, the final match of the Kribi Port Community Football Tournament celebrated not just a passion for football, but also the values of unity, social cohesion, and territorial inclusion.
This first-ever edition brought together seven traditional communities, showcasing the vibrant diversity and solidarity of the region. At the end of the tournament, it was the MABI Pfiebouri community that emerged as the historic first champion of the competition.
More than a sporting event, the tournament was a powerful platform for strengthening the ties between the port and its surrounding communities, in line with PAK’s mission to foster local and sustainable development through inclusive initiatives.
The event also reinforced the port’s role as a unifying force, committed to promoting harmony, cultural heritage, and shared progress.
