Kribi Port and the Commonwealth: A Strategic Partnership for Investment
PAK and CWEIC sign agreement to foster trade and investment opportunities
On October 10, 2022 in Yaoundé, the General Manager of the Kribi Autonomous Port (PAK) signed a partnership agreement with the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council (CWEIC), represented by its Chairman, Lord Jonathan Marland, former UK Trade Minister.
He was accompanied by a delegation of CWEIC partners interested in exploring investment opportunities in Cameroon.
CWEIC is a commercial not-for-profit organization with an official mandate from Commonwealth Heads of Government to facilitate trade and investment across the 56 Commonwealth member nations, of which Cameroon has been a member since 1995.
Through this partnership, CWEIC will support PAK’s strategic vision to become a leading regional hub in the Gulf of Guinea, by connecting the Port with key public and private leaders within the Commonwealth network.
