The Port Authority of Kribi Showcasing Cameroon and Central Africa in Guangzhou
The Port Authority of Kribi (PAK) participated in the International Maritime Silk Road Expo 2021, held in Guangzhou from September 24 to 26, 2021. This flagship event brought together more than 1,000 exhibitors from 64 countries and regions, offering a unique platform for international cooperation and exchange.
A Showcase for Cameroon and Central Africa
For its first appearance at the event, Cameroon—represented by the Port Authority of Kribi—highlighted its position as a modern and competitive logistics platform, strategically located along the global “Belt and Road” initiative.
PAK presented itself as a landmark infrastructure for both Cameroon and the Central African sub-region.
Broad International Participation
Over ten countries, including Iceland, Belgium, the United States, Panama, Bolivia, Cameroon, and South Africa, took part in the expo for the first time.
The event also welcomed leading companies, including members of the Global Top 500, who showcased internationally renowned brands and products in sectors such as consumer electronics, artificial intelligence, biomedicine, and more.
A Strategic Opportunity
By participating in this international expo, the Port Authority of Kribi reaffirmed its ambition to strengthen global partnerships and position itself as an essential maritime hub in the Gulf of Guinea, firmly integrated into the world’s major shipping routes.
