On January 26, 2024, during the 71st International Customs Day, the Port Authority of Kribi (PAK) received an International Certificate of Merit from the World Customs Organization (WCO).
The award ceremony took place at Air Base 101 in Mvan, Yaoundé, and recognized PAK’s strategic contributions to customs simplification and port logistics optimization.

Under the theme:
“Customs engaging traditional and new partners with purpose,”
this edition of Customs Day highlighted the essential role of innovation and public-private collaboration in modern trade facilitation.
💡 Kribi Port: A National First in Customs–Port Interconnection
The WCO and Cameroon Customs praised PAK’s pioneering digital infrastructure, particularly the integration between its Port Information System (SIP) and CAMCIS, Cameroon’s customs system.
📌 Kribi is currently the only port in Cameroon with a fully functional customs–port system interconnection in real time.
🏆 A Recognized Catalyst for Logistics Modernization
This recognition underscores PAK’s role as:
