Intermodal Africa 2025: Strategic Presence and Shared Prospects

The Port Authority of Kribi strengthens regional cooperation and showcases its vision of a smart port at Africa’s leading maritime logistics event.

From July 22 – 24, 2025, the Port Authority of Kribi (PAK) represented Cameroon at the 33rd edition of Intermodal Africa, hosted in Beira, Mozambique. Recognized as the internationally largest ports and logistics exhibition in Africa, the event brought together over 300 senior high-ranking officials, experts, and operator from Europe, the Middle East, and across Africa.

From the opening day, the PAK’s exhibition booth drew significant attention, notably from the Mozambican Minister of Transport, who appreciated the quality of infrastructure and regional outreach of the Port of Kribi.

Throughout the event, PAK’s delegation had numerous discussion sessions with investors, experts and technical partner, highlighting the port’s :

  • State-of-the-art infrastructure,

  • Strategic location in Central Africa,

  • Digital transformation initiatives,

  • Sustainable and integrated growth vision.

In addition, high-level meetings were held with MozParks to explore South-South cooperation and the development of integrated special economic zones.

The program also included technical site visits to the Port of Beira and the Beluluane Industrial Park, enabling valuable experience-sharing on port development models.

Intermodal Africa 2025 has been a platform where PAK reaffirmed its role as a key stakeholder in Africa’s economic integration , with a smart, competitive, and future-oriented port.
