Inauguration of the Tractafric Equipment Cameroon Plant in Kribi
A trusted partner who believed early in the potential of the Port of Kribi
On January 23, 2021, we were present at the inauguration of Tractafric Equipment Cameroon’s plant, located in the heart of the industrial zone of the Port of Kribi. The ceremony was an emotional moment, especially during the speech of the PAK’s Director General, Mr. Patrice MELOM.
In his remarks, he warmly acknowledged the early trust placed in the Port of Kribi by Tractafric:
“TRACTAFRIC was one of the first investors to trust the PAK, even when we were still facing tough start-up conditions. Once again, we sincerely thank them.”
The plant is part of a broader industrial development plan over 100 hectares of land developed by the Port Authority of Kribi, including:
-
Around 20 hectares of operational timber parks;
-
Over 30,000 m² of warehouses to be delivered by the end of 2021;
-
A cocoa bean processing factory operational since Q4 2020;
-
A cement plant scheduled for commissioning by end of 2021;
-
And other agro-industrial and manufacturing projects on a 20-hectare site.
