Inauguration of the New La Pasta Industrial Unit at Kribi Port

A major step forward for Cameroonโ€™s agro-industry within the Kribi Industrial-Port Area

On January 10, 2024, the Kribi Port Authority officially inaugurated the La Pasta SA milling plant, owned by the CADYST Consumer Group.

This marks a significant milestone for the Kribi Industrial-Port Area (ZIPK) and reinforces its position as a growing industrial hub in Central Africa.

๐ŸŒพ A High-Potential Milling Plant

Covering nearly 2 hectares, La Pasta becomes the second agro-industrial facility operating in the ZIPK. With an annual production capacity of 100,000 tons of wheat, the facility began operations with a 5,000-ton shipment received at the port last October.

โš™๏ธ Building an Expanding Industrial Network

La Pasta joins other key players in the ZIPK ecosystem:

  • Atlantic Cocoa Corporation

  • SODIPRACO

  • Tractafric Equipment

  • SICAMEC

  • and cement manufacturers CIMPORT, SIC, and CEMTECH

๐ŸŒ A Strategic Economic Ecosystem for the Subregion

Spanning 15,000 hectares, the ZIPK is more than a logistics zone โ€” it is a vibrant industrial ecosystem supporting raw material transformation and promoting regional value creation.

With modern operations such as La Pasta, Kribiโ€™s deep-sea port continues to play a key role as a driver of sustainable growth and cross-border cooperation.
