Commonwealth Business Forum: The Port Authority of Kribi Showcases its Strengths

An international showcase for investment opportunities in Cameroon

From 21 to 23 June 2022, in Kigali, the Port Authority of Kribi took part in the Commonwealth Business Forum (CBF). Before more than 1,700 delegates from across the Commonwealth, the Director General of the Port Authority of Kribi highlighted the investment opportunities offered by the Kribi port platform, reaffirming its strategic role in global economic recovery and regional cooperation.

A global stage for PAK

During this high-level forum, the Port Authority of Kribi (PAK) seized the opportunity to promote the various investment sectors available in Cameroon, with a particular focus on the unique assets of the Kribi port complex.

A major gathering for the global economy

Jointly organized by the Government of Rwanda and the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council, the CBF 2022 was held under the CHOGM theme: “Delivering a Common Future: Connecting, Innovating, Transforming.”

Over three days, heads of government, ministers, business leaders, and institutional representatives discussed global challenges and new opportunities, with a strong emphasis on post-pandemic recovery and the promotion of trade and investment among Commonwealth countries.

  • Support the transition to sustainable energy and resilient food systems.

  • Explore innovations in healthcare and green finance mechanisms.

The Port Authority of Kribi’s participation in this international event confirms its position as a strategic investment hub in Central Africa, a driver of competitiveness and a catalyst for transforming regional and global supply chains.
