Cameroon Gears Up for the General Secretariat of MOWCA!
A strategic workshop in Kribi unites key national actors in support of Cameroon’s maritime leadership.
Cameroon is on the move in its quest for the General Secretariat of the Maritime Organization for West and Central Africa (MOWCA)!
In this context, the Port Authority of Kribi (PAK) is proudly hosting a two-day workshop currently underway in Kribi. The event is organized by a coalition of major national stakeholders, including the Ministry of Transport (MINT), Ministry of External Relations (MINREX), Ministry of Finance (MINFI), Douala Port Authority (PAD), Port Authority of Kribi (PAK), Cameroon National Shippers’ Council (CNCC), Cameroon Shipyard and Industrial Engineering Ltd (CNIC), National Ports Authority (APN) and Cameroon Shipping Lines (Camship).
The workshop agenda is as follows:

Day 1: Review of key issues related to the creation and operation of the Regional Maritime Development Bank

Day 2: Strategic discussions on Cameroon’s candidacy for the position of Secretary General of MOWCA
