In Rotterdam, PAK strengthens logistics and territorial cooperation
Le 13 mai 2022, dans le cadre de la Semaine Économique du Cameroun aux Pays-Bas, une délégation du Port Autonome de Kribi (PAK), conduite par son Directeur Général, M. Patrice MELOM, a effectué une mission stratégique au Port de Rotterdam, l’un des plus grands hubs logistiques d’Europe. Objectif : renforcer la coopération portuaire et logistique, et promouvoir les atouts compétitifs du PAK sur la scène internationale.
Strengthening cooperation with Rotterdam
The mission focused on consolidating expertise exchange, highlighting the strategic assets of PAK, and exploring potential partnerships in port and logistics operations.
Discussions centered on:

the energy transition,

the digitalization of port operations,
-
the integrated management of industrial zones.
A strong commitment to local communities
On the sidelines of this visit, PAK also met with around thirty Dutch mayors to present an unprecedented initiative aimed at supporting Cameroonian municipalities. This initiative offers free logistics expertise to help local authorities:

optimize supply chains,

streamline the transport of goods,

boost their economic attractiveness.
PAK as a strategic development partner
Through this approach, the Port Authority of Kribi reaffirms its role as a strategic partner for local and regional development. By making its expertise available to territories, PAK positions itself as a key driver of sustainable planning and economic competitiveness.
