Showcasing Opportunities at the Africa Spain Business Forum
As part of the Africa Spain Business Forum, organized by One Africa, the Port Authority of Kribi (PAK) was proud to be present at the Eurostars Grand Marina Hotel in Barcelona from July 9 to 11, 2024.
This high-level event aimed to strengthen economic ties between Africa and Spain, creating bridges for new investment and collaboration opportunities.
PAK Case Study: A Next-Generation Port for the Future
On July 9, 2024, from 4:30 to 5:00 PM, PAK hosted a case study session entitled:
“Port Authority of Kribi: A Next-Generation Port Oriented Towards the Future.”
The presentation highlighted:

PAK’s state-of-the-art port facilities and industrial zone,

its vast development potential,
-
and the many advantages and opportunities it offers to international economic players.
It was both a challenging and exciting opportunity to share insights into the Kribi Industrial-Port Complex and the unique prospects it brings to global investors.
PAK’s Voice at the Africa Spain Summit
During the Africa Spain Summit by One Africa Forums in Barcelona,
Mr. Habib Mohammed Iya, Head of PAK’s Representation Office in Douala,
had the honor of presenting PAK’s strategic vision and showcasing concrete investment opportunities across key growth sectors such as:

agro-industry,

construction materials,

and the wood industry.
These opportunities are rooted in Cameroon’s rich natural resources and further boosted by government policies on import substitution and industrialization.

With its deep-water access and attractive investment incentives, the Port Authority of Kribi is positioned as a strategic logistics hub, providing efficient solutions for regional and international trade.
Strengthening Africa–Spain Ties
The Africa Spain Business Forum offered a unique platform to reinforce economic relations between Africa and Spain.
For PAK, it was an opportunity to build bridges for future partnerships, opening new horizons for investment and collaboration.
