The Port Autonome de Kribi (PAK) showcased its Integrated Industrial Zone (KPIIZ) at the 5ᵗʰ Africa Investment Forum, drawing strong international interest.

From December 4 to 6, 2024, the Port Autonome de Kribi (PAK) took part in the 5ᵗʰ edition of the Africa Investment Forum held in Rabat, Morocco.
Its presentation of the Kribi Port Integrated Industrial Zone (KPIIZ) generated remarkable enthusiasm, with investment interest exceeding 200% of the amount initially sought.

The Port Autonome de Kribi (PAK) took part in the 5ᵗʰ edition of the Africa Investment Forum, organized in Rabat (Morocco) by the African Development Bank Group (AfDB) — a major continental platform for connecting high-impact projects with global investors.

A key highlight of the participation of the PAK delegation, led by its Managing Director, was the boardroom session dedicated to the Kribi Port Integrated Industrial Zone (KPIIZ). During this session, the project was presented to a distinguished panel of international financial institutions and development partners.

The presentation emphasized the exceptional competitive advantages of the KPIIZ:

  • A strategic location in the heart of the Gulf of Guinea,

  • Direct proximity to a modern, high-capacity deep-sea port (-16m), offering economies of scale and reduced logistics costs,

  • And an extensive industrial area of over 2,100 hectares, ideal for hosting large-scale and diversified industrial clusters.

This promotional effort was carried out in collaboration with Africa Global Logistics (AGL), PAK’s strategic private partner in the development of the project. AGL’s President, Mr. Philippe Labonne, personally reaffirmed the Group’s commitment to strengthening this innovative partnership aimed at positioning Kribi as a major logistics and industrial hub in Central Africa.

The outcome of this initiative exceeded expectations — donor interest reached more than 200% of the targeted financing amount, confirming the strong attractiveness and potential of the KPIIZ project.

The Port Autonome de Kribi expresses its gratitude to the African Development Bank Central Africa team for its valuable collaboration and unwavering support throughout the process.
