Africa Infrastructures Forum 2025: Dakar at the Heart of Sustainable Infrastructure
Transport, Energy and Climate to Connect Africa’s Future
Held in Dakar from 10 to 12 November 2025, the Africa Infrastructures Forum (AIF) 2025 brought together public decision-makers, experts and private-sector stakeholders to shape the future of African infrastructure. As an official partner of the event, the Port Authority of Kribi (PAK) played an active role in the discussions, particularly on transport, energy and climate challenges.
The Africa Infrastructures Forum 2025 opened in Dakar under the banner of South–South cooperation and African leadership. Over three days, the Forum provided a high-level platform for dialogue on how to design and deliver infrastructure capable of supporting Africa’s economic growth while addressing energy transition and climate resilience.
As a partner of the 2025 edition, the Port Authority of Kribi actively contributed to strategic debates and knowledge-sharing sessions. PAK notably took part in the panel on “Transport and Energy: Building Low-Carbon, Resilient and Sustainable Infrastructure”, alongside African and international experts and institutions. Discussions focused on the integration of transport systems with energy solutions, climate adaptation strategies and innovative models tailored to African realities.
The programme featured keynote addresses, panel discussions and Innovation Talks covering key themes such as integrated and multimodal transport planning, digitalisation and artificial intelligence in infrastructure, smart rail and airport modernisation, as well as innovative and sustainable financing mechanisms, including green bonds and alternative funding models.
At the close of the Forum, AIF 2025 reaffirmed its position as a leading continental platform for public–private dialogue and South–South cooperation. The active participation of the Port Authority of Kribi, both as a partner and a panellist, highlights its commitment to promoting efficient, sustainable infrastructure and strengthening regional integration across Africa.
See you in 2026 to continue this shared ambition: building today, connecting tomorrow.
