AFPAK Marks African Day of the Seas and Oceans with a Social Initiative
Support to women traders at the Kribi fish market in the fight against Covid-19 and poor sanitation
On the occasion of the African Day of the Seas and Oceans 2020, the Women’s Association of the Port Authority of Kribi (AFPAK) carried out a solidarity action in support of the women traders of the Mboa Manga commercial fish market in Kribi.
A concrete gesture of solidarity
On Saturday, July 25, 2020, AFPAK offered garbage bins, wheelbarrows, and face masks to help improve sanitary conditions and contribute to the fight against Covid-19.
Commitment to community well-being
This initiative reflects AFPAK’s ongoing commitment to promoting health, hygiene, and community resilience. By supporting the women traders of Mboa Manga, the association also contributes to strengthening the local economy while ensuring a safer and cleaner trading environment.
