Cameroon International Cycling Tour

PAK Supports the Race

The Port Authority of Kribi (PAK) is proud to support the 20th edition of the Cameroon International Cycling Tour, since its official launch in Maroua on May 30, 2024.

Held under the High Patronage of H.E. Paul Biya, President of the Republic of Cameroon, this major sporting event brings together cyclists from Cameroon and across the world, in a powerful moment of athletic fellowship and national pride.

On Saturday, June 8, 2024, the 8th and penultimate stage of the competition took place, on the Yaoundé–Ngomedzap criterium. The race began at 1:00 PM from Boulevard du 20 Mai in Yaoundé and ended at 1:40 PM at the Ngomedzap grandstand. There, to the sound of tam-tams and traditional dance steps, local residents warmly welcomed cyclist No. 21, Algerian rider Mekboush, who crossed the finish line in the yellow jersey as the winner of this 95-kilometer stage.

As a socially responsible company, PAK proudly supports this major sporting event, which symbolically reflects both the distance already covered and the road ahead for the Port of Kribi in its ambition to become a leading port hub and to wear the yellow jersey of maritime excellence in the African region.

📍 Stay tuned for the final stage of the competition tomorrow, on the Ngoulmekong–Yaoundé route!
