The Container Terminal of the Port Authority of Kribi (PAK) recorded historic results in the first quarter of 2024, achieving performance levels never seen since the launch of the portโs commercial operations.

Since its commissioning, the container terminal has continuously improved, establishing the Port of Kribi as a preferred logistics hub for economic operators. This trend is reflected in:

The beginning of 2024 has been marked by unprecedented growth in several activity segments:

Overall, the terminal handled 76,867 TEUs in Q1 2024, representing an exceptional 38% increase compared to Q1 2023 (55,802 TEUs). Import traffic alone surged by 80%, from 11,960 TEUs in Q1 2023 to 21,504 TEUs in Q1 2024.
This marks the second consecutive quarter of positive growth, reinforcing the strong upward momentum of the terminal.
