Territorial Diplomacy and Cooperation: The Port Authority of Kribi Welcomes the EFRACAM Delegation

The Port Authority of Kribi welcomed an EFRACAM delegation for a day of discussions focused on strengthening cooperation, sharing expertise, and promoting investment opportunities.

The Port Authority of Kribi (PAK) welcomed a delegation from EFRACAM for a visit dedicated to dialogue, co-development, and stronger ties between Cameroon, its diaspora, and institutional partners.

The Port Authority of Kribi (PAK) had the pleasure of welcoming a high-level delegation from the Association of Elected Officials in France of Cameroonian Origin and Nationality (EFRACAM) as part of an initiative to strengthen territorial diplomacy and international cooperation.

The visit began with a courtesy audience granted by the General Manager of PAK to Mr. Renaud Picard, Deputy General Manager of the Grand Port Maritime de Bordeaux, followed by an in-depth technical working session with PAK’s management team.

Bringing together elected officials, public decision-makers, and highly qualified bicultural professionals, EFRACAM plays an important role in fostering cooperation between Cameroon and its diaspora. The meeting provided an opportunity to explore new avenues for collaboration, promote the strategic assets of the Port of Kribi, and identify investment opportunities capable of supporting the development of the port platform.

The discussions also highlighted the importance of territorial diplomacy as a driver of sustainable partnerships, knowledge transfer, and the implementation of high-impact projects that contribute to regional economic development.

Through this visit, the Port Authority of Kribi reaffirmed its commitment to building strong international partnerships, strengthening ties with the Cameroonian diaspora, and promoting Kribi as a leading logistics and industrial hub serving Cameroon and Central Africa.

A day of constructive dialogue, expertise sharing, and cooperation that further strengthens the longstanding relationship between Cameroon, its diaspora, and its international partners.
