Through strategic exchanges with economic stakeholders and its participation in one of Cameroon’s leading equestrian events, the Port Authority of Kribi strengthened its ties with operators from the Far North Region and showcased the opportunities offered by the Kribi industrial-port platform.

On 14 June 2026 in Maroua, the Port Authority of Kribi took part in the Grand Prix du Sahel 2026, a major sporting and cultural event. A business dinner bringing together key players from the transport, logistics, trade, and industrial sectors provided an opportunity to promote Kribi’s infrastructure, services, and investment opportunities.

On 14 June 2026, the Port Authority of Kribi (PAK) participated in the prestigious Grand Prix du Sahel 2026 in Maroua, a major sporting and cultural event that brought together administrative and traditional authorities, economic stakeholders, and horse-racing enthusiasts from across the country.

One of the highlights of PAK’s participation was the organization of a high-level business dinner, which gathered key actors from the transport, logistics, trade, and industrial sectors. The event provided a strategic platform to present the infrastructure, innovations, and business opportunities offered by the Kribi industrial-port complex.

Beyond showcasing the Port’s assets, the meeting enabled direct dialogue with economic operators from the Far North Region, helping to better understand their expectations and explore avenues for collaboration that could contribute to the development of national and regional logistics corridors.

PAK’s presence was also marked by its involvement in the prestigious “Race of Champions”, the flagship competition of this year’s edition. The race was won by Observateur, representing the Sahel Club Stable. As a partner of the event, the Port Authority of Kribi awarded the winner a prize of CFAF 1,000,000.

Through this significant participation, the Port Authority of Kribi reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening relationships with economic operators across all regions of Cameroon while consolidating its position as a driver of national logistics competitiveness and regional economic integration.
